Terms and Conditions

  • Booking and Payment
    1. A booking is confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
    2. All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).
    3. Spaces are limited to 20 participants and are allocated on a first come first served basis.
    4. The organizer reserves the right to decline bookings at their discretion.
  • Cancellation and Refund Policy
    1. Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the retreat date will receive a full refund less an administrative fee of 15%.
    2. Cancellations made within 14 days of the retreat are non refundable.
    3. Bookings may be transferred to another participant with written notice at least 48 hours before the event.
    4. If the retreat is cancelled by the organiser due to unforeseen circumstances (including extreme weather, safety risks, or insufficient bookings), participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date.
  • Health and Medical Disclosure
    1. Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or physical limitations at the time of booking.
    2. Forest Therapy involves slow mindful walking on natural terrain and for extended periods outdoors. Participants must ensure they are physically capable of participating.
    3. This retreat is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment participants are responsible for bringing any required medication.
  • Assumption of Risk
    1. Participation involves inherent risks associated with outdoor environments including uneven terrain, weather changes, insects and wildlife.
    2. Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance
    3. The organizers, facilitators and venue shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense incurred during or as a result of participation except where caused by gross negligence.
    4. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
  • Code of Conduct
    1. Participants are expected to engage respectfully with fellow participants facilitators and the natural environment.
    2. Disruptive unsafe or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the retreat without refund.
    3. Participants agreed to follow all safety instructions provided by the facilitator.
  • Environmental Responsibility
    1. The retreat follows a leave no trace principle.
    2. Please carry a small bag for your personal trash.
    3. Participants agree to respect the land, wildlife, and natural surroundings always.
  • Photography and Media
    1. Photographs of videos may be taken during the retreat for promotional purposes.
    2. Participants who do not wish to appear in media must notify the organizer in writing prior to the event.
  • Force Majeure
    1. The organizer shall not be liable for cancellation or modification of the retreat due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters government restrictions, spread of diseases, or other unforeseeable events.
  • Agreement
    1. By booking and attending the retreat, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
